As someone who extensively traveled for business, over 1 million Frequent Flyer miles, I know flying can be stressful in normal times for many people.
In order to cope with the stress some people feel they drink too much alcohol, take drugs and other things.
Throw the hysteria that has been instilled into people over Covid, it’s no wonder these incidents are happening.
It’s just a matter to time before we have someone getting seriously injured on a flight
To me it boils down to F “W” for implementing the TSA. The airlines have to respond to the TSA, real science does not matter.
I remember what it was like to fly prior to 9/11/2001. I once had a million miles on United Airlines. I only fly today if it is completely necessary. The airlines and airports treat you like a potential terrorist. Just an awful mode of travel. The airline workers complain about unruly passengers, but when you treat people like criminals don’t be surprised when they start acting like criminals.
Flying coach has been a miserable experience for years. Mask mandates are just making it worse.
It’s worse then that.
If you so much as look at a flight attendant the wrong way, they can throw you off the airplane.
Happens every day. The airline employees - especially the self impressed sky waitresses - view the passengers as cattle to be herded, and the new regime is all for it.
It’s the only industry where complaining is a crime.
People aren’t passengers anymore.
They’re cargo.
They’ve been that way for a long time, when airlines deregulated which was a good thing the prices dropped significantly making air travel affordable for the masses and made planes packed with people, you see it in the way people dress, you see half drunk or medically sedated people getting on planes, throw in the insanity over Covid and it’s a recipe what we are seeing
Again, flying for me today is only for business or time constraints. Once I retire I probably will never fly again. It’s like riding the subway. It was the only travel mode I could afford but once I bought a car I never rode the subway again.
The plane AIRBUS is aptly named.
Today, no one even knows what Sunday Best even means!
And that's in CHURCH!!!
Where're the voters?
bingo
Take THAT; Greyhound!
If, somehow, Demonicrats were excluded from flying, airline flights would become a lot more enjoyable.
bump
Now, I drive to any destination that has a road going to it. And that includes business travel, too.
A meal from Tampa to Atlanta? I might get a diet coke. They won't even give me peanuts for that little hop.
