A new poll of Arab residents of Jerusalem by a Palestinian media outlet found that 93% of them prefer to remain under Israeli rule and would not give up their Israeli identity card.
Arab residents of Jerusalem are, for the most part, not Israeli citizens, but can request citizenship if they wish. Those who are not citizens carry a special ID card allowing them freedom of movement within Israel proper.

The Arab cry babies will scream “Occupation! Occupation!” but they know under the rule of their brothers they will eat feces as a people. Just look at Gaza. Not a single Israeli there, (except soldiers’ bodies) and they shovel their own crap in and endless loop.

This poll, as is, shows how effed up the PA is. Cronyism, corruption, crappy living conditions, unemployment, bad health care, your apartment destroyed because your neighbor is a jihadi with delusions of martyrdom. Just makes you not want to live with your brethren to be unified in misery and a shorter life span.

“Arab” does not necessarily equate to looney Moslem.
Heck, Druze and Nazarene Arabs fought to be DRAFTED into the IDF
. (They could always volunteer.). The Bedouins have also generally been mildly Zionist.
No Arab wants to be ruled by the Iranians, which is who really runs the PA.
Lebanon is an Arab country that at one time was majority Christian.
Christians and Druze are around 20% of arabs in Israeli territory
Christian Arabs having given up Palestinian goals are now Israel’s highest achieving demographic

Early days post 1948 much of the Palestinian resistance was Christian led albeit as ex pats from Syria or Libya etc

This is after the mass exodus from Jerusalem to Jordan several years ago at the mere suggestion of a PA takeover of East Jerusalem.
