The Spectator editor Fraser Nelson recently had an exchange with Graham Medley, chair of SPI-M, a committee of Sage Modeling, who came up with a pretty grim outlook for the “Omicron” (Moronic) variant of the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). It turns out that Sage only churns out worst-case scenarios, Moronic included, that sidestep any possibility of a positive outcome because this is what politicians expect in order to impose more fascism.
The latest Sage papers, Nelson explains, envisage anything from 200 to 6,000 deaths per day from Moronic depending on the level of restrictions imposed. There is no scenario from Sage in which Moronic is no worse than the common cold, and Nelson wants to know why it is only doom and gloom for this latest strain of the Fauci Flu.
It turns out that most everyone involved in pushing the plandemic is just assuming, based on nothing, that Moronic will cause people to start dropping dead in the streets unless there are more lockdowns and mask mandates. Actual evidence, contrarily, shows that Moronic is basically just the seasonal sniffles.
“The latest Sage paper-drop – the 6,000-deaths-a-day one – refers to ‘scenarios,’ not predictions,” Nelson writes. “Professor Medley emphasizes the distinction: saying something could happen is not saying that there’s a realistic chance of it happening. But then why do Sage modellers publish some scenarios and not others?”

He pressed him on why a best-case scenario has never been put forth by Sage, to which Medley responded that the establishment does not want good news because it does not “support a decision” – meaning things would quickly get...

This intro should have read the paper. The 200 deaths level is the common flu. A virus with Omicron’s ability to spread will infect huge numbers. Even a mild disease takes folk if it gets to enough people.

First of all, there is no chance of the Democrats saving the Mid Terms unless they can point at VICTORY over the virus, so no, it’s not bad news that they seek. It’s punching-the-air great news they want for that narrative.
But maybe more significant . . . 6000 dead/day is the best these guys can do? That’s absurdly optimistic. That’s only 50% higher than winter 2020/2021.
And the writer this is a worst case scenario. hahaha. It’s nothing. A proper worst case would be millions of deaths in the year, ramping up to more in the next year.

Assuming the objective is Population Control, they would seem to be giving up Political Control in the long run.
Computer models for public health are junk science. They tweak them until they get the results that the sponsors want and then publish.
I have worked with several, include the infamous Imperial College model developed by the team of Neil Ferguson, et al that was used to justify the lockdown policies implemented in Great Britain.

Yup. They need one more round of lockdowns and furious activity so as the virus collapses on its own, as it is already doing, they can step in and claim it was their actions that saved the day. The reality is their actions prolonged the virus, destroyed millions of businesses, triggered massive inflation, and crippled the supply chain, but they’ll claim the “win” over the virus.
I believe the objective is purely the exercise of power. That is the reward by itself. There is no long run for the higher levels. Or at least they lack awareness that they are subject to consequences too.
Making other people do pointless or even harmful activities is the strongest possible demonstration of power in their view. The more pointless and harmful, the better.
A point to keep in mind though is that if the long-term strategy is to eliminate the political opposition, the best way to do that would be to release mild to moderate variants of COVID causing us to become vaccine hesitant, then unleash something deadly for which only they had the antidote available. If they placed that in enough public vaccine shots then they could manipulate the outcome that way.
Wasn’t there somebody who posted material about a possible smallpox round to come? Who is vaccinated against that currently?
