Ever have someone sneeze or cough in your face? I have, and you will be happier if you are wearing a mask. It limits the dose of infection, even if it doesn’t stop it 100%.

Maybe but think about this. Everyone is running around washing washing washing their hands.

But these masks that ‘protect’ you, then you have to imagine that covid is all around you as you walk around with that mask on and that mask stops the covid virus, which let’s say for the minute we ignore the fact that viruses are microscopic and can pass right between the mask fibers, but now that wonderful mask that is protecting you is protecting you how? By letting those covid germs sit right on the top of the mask (we are ignoring the virus can pass through the fibers here) and now you keep wearing that mask and that the covid germs are a fraction away from your nostrils.

Oh. Then you go home, and remove that mask with your bare hands touching all the surfaces of the mask and put it down for the next time you wear it.

They have discovered that when you touch the germs it does not transfer that way, but if it lands on the mask and you are wearing it and breathing in and out and talking occasionally then you could breathe it in.

But somehow people still think that it’s a great protection. Well, they think better than a bare face.

But it wouldn’t work in a Tuberculosis room, only an N95 mask would and only that would work for this.

Polite people cover their coughs, with the inside of their elbow rather than their hand. This is the way. Masking is not the way. Masks are theater. Stupid theater.

You know that’s really illogical. There is no “dose” of infection if you get it, you got it. Once you get it, it replicates itself inside your body.

How badly you get it depends on your body’s resistance to the virus.

Actually, I avoid strip clubs, and anyone who gets closer than 6 feet to me had better be a friend or family.

Studies prove that respiratory disease cannot be stopped by any means outside a full on face respirator, properly worn and service.

I am a painter. Using toxic paint, in a toxic and low oxygen environment. Without a properly fitted mask and a clean shaven face, you would get sick and die fairly quickly. With the mask on, your oxygen levels drop quickly. You can function, but not as well. You do have to take them off to go home though.

N-95 respirators? Wear them all the time when spraying Latex inside and outside on homes. You get plenty of paint in your nose, because it is not possible to stop even latex paint, which is water based. Just like sneezes and coughs, it is unavoidable.

Simply put, if you are a habitual mask wearer, you have a serious mental issue. The slaves in China wear them, sure. They think it protects them, and hides their identity. That is an entire culture that is totally mental. We should follow their example /s
