Parents in the Austin, Texas, area expressed outrage after a technology teacher read a Dr. Seuss-style poem mocking "evangelicals" and parents who have expressed concerns about books they call pornographic.
Krista Tyler, instructional technology specialist at Grisham Middle School in the Round Rock Independent School District (ISD) read the poem at the Leander ISD school board meeting Dec. 16.
"Everyone in Leander liked reading a lot/ but some evangelicals in Leader did not," Tyler begins. "These kooks hated reading, the whole reading season./ Please don't ask why, no one quite knows the reason./ It could be perhaps critical thinking causes fright./ It could be their heads aren't screwed on just right./ But whatever the reason, their brains or their fright,/ they can't follow policy in plain black and white."

School boards need to be taken back from the union plants.
Teachers are now the bullies. They seem to be able to do most anything and still keep their jobs. As a parent, I would fight to get these type of teachers fired and never be able to work with children again.
Parents need to warn their children about public school teachers.
The legislature needs to crack-down on this — and bring the city of Austin to heel.
I don’t know about anybody else, but I find it entertaining when they get cocky enough to break cover, dive in, and flush themselves down the biffy. Woke America is more fun than a trip to the circus.

Austin went blue and down the toidy years ago. My wife and I met there 30+ years ago and still own property.
Response should have been: “Mebbe you push this ‘cause you and your friends are pedos!” “Teachers in this school should have body cams like coppers so they can be caught ‘touching’.”

Ok, a school board meeting with lots of adults... she's a bully and a thug but adults can deal with that.
How about the kids?
Imagine how it would feel being a kid in her classroom for a year - and dealing with her contempt and hatred of people like YOU and like your family?
Little conservative kids come home with tummy aches and don't want to go to school in the morning - but liberal bullies don't care.
