Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney has gone after Donald Trump countless times, and new polls indicate that it could result in her being voted out of office in the 2022 midterm elections.
According to the Washington Examiner, Cheney is underwater big time versus a GOP primary challenger backed by the former president:
Embattled Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney, whose reelection campaign is under fire from former President Donald Trump, widely trails her top challenger in a new 2022 survey.
In the SoCo Strategies poll conducted to gauge the impact of Trump endorsements, Cheney is 18-points behind Trump-backed Harriet Hageman.
The new survey of Republican voters found that Hageman, a GOP activist, and Cheyenne land and water rights attorney, leads Cheney, 38%-18%. State Representative Anthony Bouchard is at 12% and 26% are undecided.
The independent survey — not done for Cheney or Hageman — was included in a handful of other state results showing that a Trump endorsement can be a game-changer.
“The only 2022 Wyoming House Race Polls that have been carried out were carried out before Trump endorsed Harriet Hageman so they are not in sync with present conditions, but they do give us a glimpse into the amount of disillusionment Wyoming Republicans have with Liz Cheney for her vote to impeach Trump. Cheney does not cross 23% in any poll, which already spells trouble for an incumbent with statewide name recognition,” Crowds Wisdom reported. In a September statement, Trump said he is backing Wyoming attorney Hageman, whom he said “is running against warmonger and disloyal Republican” Cheney.
“Harriet is a fourth-generation daughter of Wyoming, a very successful attorney, and has the support and respect of a truly great U.S. Senator, Wyoming’s own Cynthia Lummis,” Trump continued.

Liz is a Bush League Republican. AKA, Democrat.
Who’s is the Bouchard fool? Is he closer to MAGA? If so why not consolidate?
Thankfully, Wyoming is not an open primary state, though I doubt there are enough Ds there to make a difference.

23% is still too high
Liz thinks she’s presidential material now.
Yes, please.
Good. Send the nepotistic bitch home.
The carpetbagger won’t reside 5 minutes in WY when she loses.
It’s December 20th, 2021. All polls are irrelevant until after the 2022 elections and then they still get it wrong.
Time for a big boot up the butt for Lez Romney the traitor 🤪
Liz lives her life doing a horrible impression of a man.
She appropriates the worst male stereotypes and turns them up to 11.
Is so doing, she is reduced to a dishonest, false witness bearing, integrity free, mindless cheerleader for corruption and the corrupt.
I heard Hageman on John Solomon’s podcast. Sounds very impressive. No disrespect to her, but of course we could hardly do worse than what we’ve got

For anyone questioning former President Donald Trump’s lock on the Republican Party after his 2020 loss, look no further than the impact his endorsement packs.
In new polling of several House Republican primary races, a Trump endorsement pushes 2022 candidates past 50%, even against long-established incumbents such as Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney.
“The Trump endorsement is a true dagger,” said Zachary Moyle of SoCo Strategies. “Trump is the king of kingmakers.”
In last month’s elections, for example, Trump-endorsed candidates went four for four.
And according to Brian Jack, the former White House political director, Trump’s 2020 record was 120-2, and this year, it is 17-1.
“Results don’t lie,” he said. “The power of President Trump’s endorsement is undeniable.”

Um-m ... reading at that link it would seem that WY is an open primary state as they allow party switching on primary day.
I guess my question is this: if a D wants to vote in the R primary against the Cheney challenger, they make the switch to the R party on primary day and then vote for Cheney. Now are they allowed to vote D in the general election? Do they need to switch back to the D party?
Since the person switching parties cannot be denied his vote on election day, do we cancel his vote somehow?
I don’t see how allowing party switching on either of the voting days is a closed primary system ...
Can Cheney pull a Murkowski and run as an independent in the general election in Wyoming, hoping to get enough Democrat and never-Trump Republican votes to beat the candidate Trump endorsed?
Time to get a real job Liz.
Is so doing, she is reduced to a dishonest, false witness bearing, integrity free, mindless cheerleader for corruption and the corrupt.

Her father was well thought of in my neck of the woods but I don’t have enough info to praise or criticize him either way. That said, I cannot stand that miserable two-faced skank of a daughter, so I hope she gets the sh*t beat out of her in the coming election.
It's like saying embattled Presidential Candidate former gubner Jeb!
I love the smell of toasted RINO in the morning.
