Conspiracy theorist and right-wing provocateur Alex Jones says he will not comply with demands the House Select Committee investigating January 6 has made for his testimony and records, according to a new lawsuit he filed on Monday.
The lawsuit seeks to block the subpoenas and claims Jones should be protected under the First Amendment, and that he will also decline to answer questions so as not to incriminate himself.
The committee has called Jones to testify on January 10, according to the lawsuit.

When they came for Alex Jones I said nothing because I hated Alex Jones and approved of silencing him.
Little did I know I was on the menu, too.
This Kommittee is not following its own rules, nor the rules that Congress established for its creation. Those two issues alone make what they demand illicit, and therefore unenforceable.

The guy is a nut sometimes, but other times he is right on.
Alex Jones, IS the real deal. They picked on the wrong guy this time. His great great grandfather is Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest. My grandkids went with me, the historian on a Pre Christmas Retreat, all from University.. they asked me WHO in American History was the most vilified, misunderstood hated hero of all times. They said it was Nathan Bedford Forrest. He freed all his slaves before the Civil War, NEVER voted for Succession, and his was the largest funeral EVER in the South, with the great majority of them being people of color. He stood TALL, was a man of great courage, and maligned even today...

If they have some Gestapo to enforce it, then, it’s enforceable. The problem with our legal system is you have to be really wealthy to defend yourself. And, when you win, you are generally just poorer for the effort.

It should read “former” conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. Because, most of his theories have been proven to be right on the money! (Yeah, I know I may be exaggerating a bit, but not much).
The legislative branch does not have judicial/law enforcement powers.
End of story.
They have already demonstrated how they can steal an election and get away with it.
Everyone in the world should be terrified by this.

Definitely. From what I saw, Jones was on his bullhorn instructing people to remain peaceful because he suspected it was a setup
It would make an interesting movie if someone could do it without distorting the facts...a pure look at the facts about the man...yes the warts too and the stellar qualities as well. I think many Americans can judge fairly as long as they have the true facts laid before them!
We are having our vision clouded by dishonest evil men!
