Former President Trump said on Sunday that he has received a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot.

The former president was asked by former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly during a speaking tour if he had received a booster shot for his coronavirus inoculation.

"Yes," Trump responded, sparking a reaction from the crowd gathered in Dallas.

That’s disappointing. All of those seniors getting monoclonal therapy aren’t helping us build herd immunity.

“Monoclonal therapy provides the antibodies that defeat the virus. Your own immune system isn’t involved and doesn’t get trained to produce its own antibodies. This isn’t like recovering from covid on your own where you do acquire natural immunity.”

And you continue to post misinformation. Therapeutics of ANY sort does not negate the acquisition of natural immunity.

“Recovery from a virus normally instills natural immunity...”

As in colds, which is the same family of viruses as covid?

“I’d be more favorably impressed if Trump had made sure the HCQ and ivermectin were kept available...”

He did with HCQ, but that was reversed by the Biden administration. I don’t think ivermectin was on the radar at the time.

BTW does the same hold true for people who are vaccinated? Do they also not acquire natural immunity when they fight off the virus?

“I do not worship...”

It is truly amazing how some people are so susceptible to incorporating into their thinking the propaganda smears of the MSM.

Trump, he obeys the medical community

He did not listen to Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Scot Atlas, Dr. Barlett from Texas and many others...

Perhaps because Deep State Traitor Pence was the gatekeeper.

I understand where you are coming from and by no means am I anti-Trump. Whereas I respect his commonsense and values, the very fact that he has chosen to get a booster tells me he is clueless on this specific issue. One of Trump’s weaknesses as well as his strengths is his ego, and he still wants to take pride in his warp speed rush for a vaccine which clouds his judgement on this imo. I’m not hating on him, it’s just that he’s slowly losing relevance and effectiveness because of that. If he’s the nominee in 2024 you can be sure that I will be enthusiastically be supporting him. I just don’t worship him as some here seem to do.

Trump already had the Wu-flu. He survived it, so he has natural immunity so he shouldn’t need any shots.🙄

Even recovery from the common cold gives a degree of natural immunity against the specific viruses that caused it. What is called the “common cold” is not just one specific virus, there are variations and mutations involved.

President Trump is human—and he has made a very human error.

He is traveling “outside his lane”.

Hopefully the vaccines won’t cause him any harm.

“He is traveling “outside his lane”.”

Yes, that’s a good way of putting it.

People do seem willing to overlook Trump's missteps. His handling of this Covid scam has been largely a disaster. Possibly his best moment was when he came out with his endorsement of the Hydroxychloriquine. He was highly criticized for that and he laid off.

Then when these absurdly impossible vaccines were introduced he supported them whole heartedly, and that was a big mistake. He should have backed away then but he didn't, but that is OK with the Fan Club because he is Trump.

Vaccines are not produced in 9 or 10 months. The testing alone takes much more time than that.

Well, his error in all of this simply has to be overlooked. Maybe it was part of a plan to make this stooge currently pretending to hold the Office go all in on the poison, but I do not particularly think very highly of that foolishness. You cannot go running around disabling people, killing many, screwing with the lives of children and then simply say ’Ooops, I am sorry, my mistake.’ This business is near genocide and it is not getting better.

Perhaps we must overlook this because the alternative is the Apocalypse or something, but this is now and always shall be a huge blemish on the Trump Legacy.

I think there is something going on that is not in public view at this time. President Trump is far from stupid. There’s something else in play.

Yes you could easily compare it to that and not be off base. It’s endemic now, any respiratory virus that becomes endemic in the animal population like this one has is unlikely to become eradicated with current medical technology. I’m not an expert, and am neither a medical doctor no hold a PhD in a relevant field, but I go straight to pubmed and get my information from there and not from the lying propaganda one finds in the mainstream media. If I’ wrong in my assessment of things, I welcome anyone with a higher understanding of the situation to correct me. I’m just a regular guy, a bit smarter and better informed than average, that’s all.

It became endemic in the human population first.

Dr. Malone says that someone can get covid more than once, due to the mutations.

Yes you can get it more than once. But the salient point is that the vaccine only uses the spike protein half of the virus to induce an antigenic response, whereas natural immunity has the advantage of constructing an antigenic response against the entirety of the viral particle, and since the mutations observed so far are mostly in the spike protein part, natural immunity would be far superior since it would have far better recognition of the entire antigen, not just a part if it.
