The kid who was told to act as Hitler may be bothered by that for quite a while: “Why did she pick me to do that?”

The Bolsheviks did it without any prior reeducation and just put baristas, waiters, whole foods employees and weed store employees in charge of security with carte blanche on murder.

“ Does Congress have oversight here?”

Congress!? They’re busy. They’ve got investments to manage, day trading to do, a stolen election to cover up, Trump to vilify, a military they need to indoctrinate, a fake pandemic extension to do project management on…

These teachers need to visit Auschwitz. It would change their minds.

Take your kids out of this school and educate them at home.

I agree. Teach the truth, not these lies.

It sounds like the library staff member has a few screws loose. It happens, sadly. My 5th grade teacher was apparently a good teacher until the year I got her when she had a mental breakdown. The lesson on the Donner Party was ... interesting. We kids had figured out she was bonkers by then and just gave each other looks, surreptitiously sharing with each other how um, uncomfortable, we were with this.

There was much worse, and several parents (including mine) yanked their kids from her class and sent us to private school. She retired that year.

Fifth grade is one thing, and we survived. Third grade is another. It’s frightening to be a kid at the mercy of a mentally unbalanced teacher, and those poor third graders must have been really scared. Add in the outrageously horrifying lesson with “acting out” unspeakable atrocities.... those poor kids.

Third grade is too young to be teaching about the Holocaust anyway, even without the sick acting out. No words.

We made ‘stained glass’ pictures using tissue paper and we sang ‘Over the river and through the woods’ for Miss McDonald, our student teacher who we loved so much as she left for graduation. We all donated a quarter each and our teacher bought her a Timex watch and she cried when she opened it.

Such sweet times back then.

Where did that come from? Stormfront?

There were over half a million Jews in Germany in 1933. The other 5.5 million who perished in the Ho!ocaust were from Nazi-occupied (and allied) countries, pretty much all of Europe: France, Poland, Ukraine, Former Yugoslavia, Holland, Belgium, Italy, the list goes on and on.

Why waste effort killing and burning people when a war is going on? They did it for ethnic and genetic “purity” as they saw it. Historical fact.

Ask the Croats why they wasted time and energy torturing, killing and burning the bodies Serbs and Roma in their many, many thousands during WWII (although sometimes they threw the living into the crematoria along with the dead).

Sounds like Miss MacDonald was very special. I might remember more elementary school teacher names and experiences than I remember from Jr High and HS. My third grade teacher was Miss Cohen. I had Miss Anderson for K. She was “16”. I misunderstood when we celebrated her 60th birthday.

Yep

Most German Jews had left the country by 1939. Most Jews murdered were from Poland, Russia and Hungary. A huge percent were just shot rather than gassed. But FR’s Jew-haters mostly know that.

Sick beyond belief. A university level course I took on this topic had people opting out when it got too...accurate. That teacher belongs in jail.

“the teacher in the re-enactment is instructing the kids to identify with the SS.”

In the article I read about this, it said it wasn’t even a teacher, but the Librarian. When I was in elementary school the Librarians didn’t have a forum that would allow a coordinated event like this.
