California police are investigating an attempted robbery at a Macy’s in San Jose after at least six male suspects entered the store and assaulted a female employee.
Police say between six and eight suspects entered the Macy's at the Westfield Oakridge Mall at about 6 p.m. local time Saturday.
Employees of Macy's loss prevention team approached the suspects and tried to stop them, according to authorities. A female Macy’s employee was assaulted by one of the male suspects, suffering minor to moderate injuries, NBC Bay Area reported.

Yes. Loss prevention. I was a floor detective for a grocery/drugstore chain in the 80s and we were called loss prevention.

Was this woman a parent of these kids, was she involved? She should be arrested for aiding and abetting. Sounds a bit like Keystone cops at all I got was the woman interfering and not the people trying to do the robbery.

More than likely the one member of the team who detained the loudmouthed butinsky will get fired or sued or both. These minimum wage rent a cops are fools for even confronting the rampaging crews of thugs.
