If the South Africa experience is accurate, about 1/10 as many of “infected” as with “normal” COVID.
So if “infections” escalate by > 10% that might be reason for concern.
And how many “infections” are merely false positives?

I was wrong. There were some covid deaths in South Africa. Maybe from omicron or maybe the last dying gasps from delta.
