Three retired U.S. Army generals have warned of insurrection or possibly even civil war if the results of the 2024 presidential election are not accepted by sections of the military.
Retired Major Generals Paul D. Eaton and Antonio M. Taguba joined retired Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson urged today's leaders to act to prevent such scenes, calling on today's leaders to "war-game" an attempted coup.
In an op-ed for The Washington Post published on Friday, the former military leaders said they were "increasingly concerned" about the "potential for lethal chaos inside our military, which would put all Americans at severe risk" in the aftermath of the election.
They warned of the potential for "total breakdown of the chain of command along partisan lines" and the risk of a "shadow government" led by a losing candidate who refuses to concede defeat, directly referencing former President Donald Trump.
"In short: We are chilled to our bones at the thought of a coup succeeding next time," they wrote.

Look it’s really simple.
DON’T BLOCK POLL WATCHERS.
DON’T ALLOW MAIL IN VOTING.
All voting must be done, in person, at a polling place.
This isn’t a “partisan” problem.
This is a Democracy problem. Because you should be more afraid of millions of votes suddenly appearing after the voting has been “halted for the night” and then NEVER INVESTIGATING IT.
And maybe with all your military acumen ask yourself why nearly 50% of the military thinks that’s important?

The phrase “lethal chaos inside our military” actually began with wimps and traitors like the anti-Trump Millie and Gen. John Kelly factions as well as thousands in the forces who are now LBGTQ and may at any moment throw down their weapons and slap someone on the face with a white glove.
Soon they’ll take a poll on smartphones of troops to say “Agree, I’ll fight” or “No way, I refuse to go” before every military encounter with the enemy.

If the military pulls off a true coup, then a civil war will ensue. Millions of Americans would love to to try out their ARs and AKs against tyranny. We a very close no CW right now. If the states don’t clean up the electoral mess, it will happen.

Since they are worried about partisan divides in the military, how about if they stop politicizing the military and let it train and do its job of protecting the country from foreign adversaries instead of installing rainbow flags and preaching wokism.
