When the rank Lefties at Texas Soviet Monthly hate you, that’s a good thing.
Mr. “too little to late” Abbott is a mediocre Governor. He apes other stronger governor, like DeSantis. Why did it take him so long to start the border wall? To drop mask mandates?
There is a much stronger governor candidate in the wings, who unfortunately probably doesn’t have a prayer. Look up Huffines if you need information.
This is true. They are still missing Mother Richards at Texas Monthly.
He must be doing something right.
Abbott is getting tough because he knows that if ERCOT and the Texas utilities screw up again in Texas like they did last February, the consequences will be applied to his reelection chances.

Abbott gets my vote, not even close. If people want to fix Texas politics, they need to start with the State House.
Everybody in Texas well knows that the “Texas Monthly” is a Commie embracing rag that cannot be taken seriously at all.
I think that the default reaction of the Texas Monthly Editorial board when they awake each day to be reminded that Texas isn’t a blue state (in spite their hopes, dreams, and best efforts).
So far I am going to support Lt. Col. Allen West in the coming primary.

The Texas election audit continues. I’m expecting to see some significant fraud come to light. Maybe that will be enough to shore up integrity of our elections enough to hold off the communist takeover for another decade.

He had to. He was busy building the wall. Keeping illegals out of Texas and making sure Texas power grid was ready for cold weather. Greatest Govenor since Ann Richards!
