I’ve searched their web sites after hearing about this the first time. I couldn’t find anything on it. Are their links? I learned not to be so hasty to jump on band wagons because I’ve been burnt so many times before..
Wow! It’s even worse than I imagined. After digging around their website, I am so done with them. What a shame. Liberals ruin everything they touch. SA was once a good organization.
An article yesterday or this morning, the SA said the situation is “dire” because donations are down so much. Blamed it on covid and job uncertainty.
10 days before Christmas and I have yet to see a Kettle anywhere.

I recently tried to donate several perfectly good infant items to Goodwill. A high chair and a couple sit/play walkers.
The pimple-faced teen working the drop-off area spoke to me like I had committed a moral error by trying to donate these items. Company policy, he said- they can’t take anything a child sits in. God forbid a needy family could get their child in one of these death traps.
It was late, and I thought of taking them to the Salvation Army, but then remembered this story. Needed them out of the garage that night and didn’t know any other local places I could leave them. Into the dumpster they went.

Yesterday I received my annual SA Holiday request for a contribution. I mailed it back today with a note demanding and apology, and enclosed my contribution: TWO PENNIES!
I just don’t trust the big charity groups any more.

Well here’s a “heads up” from a Traditionalist “Cradle Catholic”: If you’ve ever donated to Catholic Charities you should never do so again because that organization is a major ally of the Democrats and the illegal alien invasion. Likewise regarding Methodist Church organizations.

That is a fantastic screed of white hatred. It sounds like it’s written by a black woman or women, very singe.
I bet they’d take a white man as a partner over any black IRL. It would be interesting to see how they got such hatred of whites. It says they were raised in a white family in the 50s/60s and then moved to a black area with more power.
If that’s what the Salvation Army is pushing, truly, they need to get $0 from now on.

I haven’t ever donated to the Catholic or Methodist groups you mention.
Wouldn’t surprise me. white liberals on twitter, and that mess, are about as bad as it gets. So awfully bad :(
I used to actively support the SA my monthly subscription. After their foray in to the Forrest of Wokeness I cancel my monthly contribution. I now use their kettles as repositories for bags of Jack Russell excrement. There is a deep, deep resentment of the woke movement in American people, no matter how much you try and disguise it.
You’d think white privilege (working jobs) is what affords giving.
