A supposedly Christian organization exposed themselves to be false. They previously annoyed the Left by their charitable works, and now that they've sold out to the Left, they've aggravated both the Left and the Right.
The Salvation Army has had financial and manpower problems for more than a decade.

Count me in the “less favorable” and “less likely to donate” camp. I didn’t send a check in for Christmas, the first time in more than a decade. Other, more local charities benefited instead.

All any entity has to do is STAY THE HELL OUT OF POLITICS.
Virtue signaling is nauseating and irritating.

“For you to actually say that you’re not going to be political means that you need to actually say a statement reversing what you originally said,” Xu believes. I'd say this guy is saying a lot that goes without saying, woudn't you say?

Yet another organization stupidly caters to a miniscule portion of the population and pays a price.

“An additional 32% stated that they were “much more likely” or “somewhat more likely” to donate to the charity.”
These were random people polled. The 32% who approve of SA racism are your Black Lies Matter proponents. These individuals have never and would never donate a dime to a Christian organization. The net effect on SA donations is 100% negative.

It’s simple, really. If I’m the source of all the problems encountered by minorities, then it’s better if I don’t interact with those minorities or their supporters. Piece o’ cake.

The article danced around the key issue which was so well articulated by MLK.
Are we to judge others by the color of their skin or the content of their character?
SA picked door number one—and declared a war on white people.

They should have immediately apologized and fired the Salvation Army Social Justice Commission. Instead, they tried to pretend it was all a misunderstanding.
I wish I could help them, but they're not going to listen to me, I'm sure.

Upon learning about “Let’s Talk About Racism,” 32% of those surveyed said that they were either “much less likely” or “somewhat less likely” to donate to the Salvation Army. An additional 32% stated that they were “much more likely” or “somewhat more likely” to donate to the charity.Well, they'll just have to count on the contributions of that 32% going forward.

I think the local spots where there were initially Salvation Army solicitation have now all disappeared. They are gone.
If they reappear, my first questions will be, 'Have you renounced critical race theory advocated by the Salvation Army? Has your local group renounced critical race theory advocated by the Salvation Army? Regardless, I'll pass and make any donations elsewhere.

A classic case of “whose idea was it to do that?” Before that memo I had never, I think, heard anything negative about the SA.
