If JFK truly hated Communists, he would not have willfully stood by when patriots were slaughtered at Bay of Pigs. The Demonrat party got taken over by Socialists (which later segued to Communists) way back in 1896. There’s only been one outright non-Socialist nominated in 125 years for President, and that was John W. Davis in 1924.
I think you mean the Republican party. Karl Marx was a big Lincoln fan and wrote to him congratulating him on his work. By the "Progressive Era" all the liberals were Republicans. Socialism was "in" back at the turn of the 20th century.

IMO There are only 2 real players that had the means and motives, the Cubans for the Bay of Pigs and the mob, specifically Marcello and Giancana for RFK. I keep telling people that the clue to who was behind the assassination was where was Oswald headed before he ran into JD Tippit. Oswald had no car, and had no one picking him up. His only escape route was through the bus line. That tells me he was heading to a safe house, either operated by cubans or the mob.
