More than 65 faculty members at University of Southern California who signed a petition imploring the institution to admonish a vocally anti-Semitic Palestinian student don't think the school has done enough to distance itself from her statements, including a tweet saying she wanted to 'kill every motherf****** Zionist.'

On the week of June 15, she tweeted the phrase 'Death to Israel,' said that 'Zionists are going to f****** pay,' told followers that 'if you are not for the complete destruction of Israel and the occupation forces then you’re anti-Palestinian,' and invoked 'Death to Israel and its b**** the U.S.'

My guess they would not. The outraged 65 probably would have praised an anti-white black student, defending the statement as free speech, and would have denounced anyone who criticised the black student as “racist” and “white supremacist”.

If she had said to kill all Jews then she would have been advocating for murder based on religion or ethnicity. Title IX won’t allow that. But she only advocated killing people based on a political stance, i.e. Zionism. So I guess that’s okay because political positions are not protected by Title IX and Title IX is now the supreme law of the land.
