The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released updated guidance on Tuesday saying that an individual can be considered to have a disability after contracting COVID-19 under certain circumstances.
According to the EEOC's new guidance, a person who has or was previously diagnosed with COVID-19 can be considered disabled if the condition or any the symptoms they experience cause “physical or mental” impairment that “substantially limits one or more major life activities.”
People who tested positive for COVID-19 but were asymptomatic or experienced mild symptoms that resolved without issue will not be considered disabled under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), per the guidance.

What is their take on this:
Can VAXX mandates be a justification for self defense?

Nothing about vaccine sideffects. Why do I have a suspucion this is another ploy to put pressure on employers to institute vaccine mandates?

Fraudulent disability claims pour in.

Hell, I can see it. I had Covid three weeks ago. First week without Covid and I still can't function. I'm a medical coder, so basically I sit in front of some computer screens and type all day. Right now, I can only do that fifteen or so minutes at a time before the muscle fatigue gets so bad I can't lift my arms. My wife, on her third post-covid week, still can't walk more than thirty steps without having to sit down when the fatigue hits her legs. Docs say we can look forward to another 3-6 MONTHS of this. So, yeah, I can see disability.
But fraud -- which I think conservative folks will think about first -- won't be a thing for the funding because TPTB couldn't care less; they WILL tie the disability funds to whether or not you were vaxed, because that's yet more financial extortion to get the needle in people.

well, depends, I lost maybe 5% of my lung ability and still have issues breathing today, that would up the % rating for any disability rating.
being fat and inactive has zero to do with it...but seriously, I had covid and pneumonia both lungs, 18 days of it, been sicker but never for so long.
I am already on disability for everything else, so, It wont affect me if they include it.
