I read a lot of news all the time, but I have zero memory of hearing about this mass murder. Unfortunately. there are so many such mass killings nowadays, it’s not a shock to have overlooked a few of these instances. The USA is a huge continent. Not all news makes it coast to coast.
I have no doubt CTE and perhaps drug were the major factors.

As long as the two sports continue to reap the financial benefits of the players participating, then it's up to the leagues to provide lifetime medical coverage for those suffering from CTE
