Former President Donald Trump was full of praise for terrorist-supporting Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in a recent interview — while claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not want to reach a peace deal.
Axios’ Barak Ravid, who conducted the interview with Trump for a new book about Trump’s peace efforts, reported Monday:

have to have an Israel figure to misdirect the populace.
I will always support Israel, because like it or not, it is
still God’s chosen people.

We shouldn’t expect Israel to be perfect. No person or
nation is, other than Jesus Christ.

Besides, Trump's peace plan couldn't have been more advantageous to Netenyahu and Israel if they had written it themselves. I don't see that happening if Trump had such warm fuzzies for Abbas.
