innesota hospital leaders are warning in a full-page newspaper ad that they are “overwhelmed” amid a COVID-19 surge and are urging the public to take action.

“Our emergency departments are overfilled, and we have patients in every bed in our hospitals,” write the leaders of nine hospital systems in the state, including the Mayo Clinic and North Memorial Health.

The hospitals warn that because their capacity is strained, care for non-coronavirus medical events, like heart attacks, is also threatened.

Are they having heart attacks from getting the shot?

Are you connecting the dots again? Adding 2 + 2? You don't need that info until Big Brother Doctor thinks you need it.

For instance, the Mayo Clinic let go 1,000 health care workers because they declined the vaccination. Hence, now there is a “bed shortage” because there isn’t enough staff.”

This is happening from the west coast to the east coast and in between.

This is really about staff shortages I would guess. They can’t hire enough people and don’t want to admit that.

It’s possible that’s the case....a family member just had his hip surgery cancelled in central PA. Hospitals are packed not just in his town but in the area.

There were probably nurses making dancing TikTok videos in a break room somewhere behind the scenes.

Ask anyone in the hospital business. "What was your capacity for admitted patients needing a room? " The answer will shock you. It used to be one hospital bed per 1,100 in the population. It is now one bed for about 9,000.

The business model for medical procedures of every type went from an inpatient care model to an outpatient care model.

This change has exposed critical vulnerabilities in our systems. A large accident on an interstate or a catastrophe finds a city in a capacity problem. It's so common now that even emergency rooms don't have a doctor present. Nurse practitioners run the show with a doctor on call, giving phone or video consultation to the staff.

The only model we have is one of cost lowered outpatient medical care.

What!? Haven’t all those Filipina nurses and Pakistani doctors arrived yet to take up the personnel slack and fill those empty staff positions?

Some hospitals are overwhelmed because other hospitals figured out it wasn't worth having a COVID-1984 ward. Care facilities also decided they won't take back patients who tested positive for COVID until they test clear, leaving them in the hospital for days since they can't go home either.

They’ve had almost two years to staff up. There’s no excuse for not doing so.

If hospitals want to use advertising to reduce admissions, then advertise the benefits of vitamins C and D, zinc, and
maintaining a healthy weight.

Too bad they can’t advertise the benefits of the dreaded Ivermectin in fear of the State Medical Service of the Third Reich.

“non-coronavirus medical events, like heart attacks”

I would like to see proof of this statement.

I had to postpone my hip replacement six months. On the last night of my recovery they mad a surprise move, putting me in the COVID ward. My GO told me later that was so they could claim me as a COVID patient and collect feral dollars. So what if I caught COVID?

Family member doesn’t want his surgery because even though he has the jabs he doesn’t want covid too by being in a hospital where it is.
