At least 75 federal lawmakers held shares of Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, or Pfizer in 2020. Lawmakers' holding stock in these companies has prompted ethical concerns.
Several other lawmakers traded shares of companies with a direct stake in the pandemic.
Dozens of Republican and Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill have invested in companies that have a direct stake in the nation's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an Insider analysis of federal financial records.
In 2020, at least 13 senators and 35 US representatives held shares of Johnson & Johnson, the medical behemoth that produced the single-shot COVID-19 vaccine that more than 15 million Americans have received.

Ya remind me of some of the slimballs who used to haunt this site, who they spent all their time attempting to convince everyone prior to the Trump era, that these, “Free trade” laws were good for the U.S., all while the U.S. was getting economically gang banged by policies only our enemies loved, as they looted the American treasure decade after decade.

Oh, I dunno. I'm sure Moderna's corporate bosses had lobbyists in Washington, who kept them abreast of pending laws on vaccine mandates.
And I'm sure that top government officials in Washington, knowing which way the vaccine laws would go, knew which companies to invest in.
This is all so nauseating and obvious. I am still unvaxxed and want to stay so but the pressure is starting to build. Job has not mandated but the writing is on the wall. Couldn’t even go to my daughters 11th birthday at a movie theatre and now my family is complaining about how little I do things with them (due to being barred from entry at most places).
Just as they intended I am close to breaking...sad times.
I had not thought of that angle. Of course, it makes sense.
I figured the Pharma companies were making astronomical money on it, but hadn’t considered our politicians and their families purchasing stocks.
How do we stop this? So it is obvious why there is censorship to the truth on these vaccines. Not simply controlling us....but $$$
Yet one more reason not to trust the so called vaccines manufactured by Pfizer, Modera, J&J, Astra-zeneca.
A. You have no idea what you are talking about.
B. No amount of any dicussion will bring you the realization that there are products such as insurance, loans, bank accounts, etc... that reinvest users payments into stocks and bonds and other vehicles that the customers are not aware of.
C. Different levels of risk are assigned to various types of publicly traded stocks.
D. Medical stocks are typically a low risk investment. Most gains are realized in portfolios centered on medium-high to high risk returns.
E. YOU refuse to educate yourself on subjects you admittedly no nothing about, and therefore, remain augmentative.
F. You hurl insulting remarks at people you know absolutely nothing about, based on your uninformed imaginations.
G. Why would you expect a big reveal of anyone’s personal or private information?
H. Why would anyone think anything less of your forensic argument when your bias is baseless and heavily weighted towards personal opinion, insult, and not fact?
