He’s the Grinch who stole your wallet.
A serial pickpocket with more than 30 busts under his belt was pinched again last week while targeting unsuspecting tourists at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, only to be dumped back on the street the next day, law-enforcement sources and authorities told The Post.
Gary Teasley, 65 — who has been known to wear snazzy outfits, including a long dark fur coat and fashionable hat, during his alleged crimes — is so familiar to cops that they’re on a first-name basis, a source said.
Teasley is such an illicit pro that he also used to keep a storage locker with stolen wallets and other goods — and a detailed record of the heists...

Take a machinists hammer to his hands.

Taking money from the pockets of The People?
The government doesn’t consider that a crime at all ...
Black again. When are the blacks going to admit this stuff? They have a problem.
Yeah, I figured, after I read, ".... a long dark fur coat and fashionable hat..."
It's all beyond surreal. It's Mad Magazine ludicrous.
“When are the blacks going to admit this stuff?” When they’re over it. And some (or more) are.
There’s pickpockets all over Grand Central station as well. I did a test there about 15 years ago where I had an old wallet I was going to throw away so instead I emptied it and put a piece of paper inside it where I wrote “Ha ha go F yourself sucker” with the “F” of course spelled out, and I put the wallet in my back pocket with paper padding below it in the pocket so the wallet would stick slightly out and show, and I swear getting off the subway, going upstairs with the crowd and to the exit must have taken less than 3 minutes and it was GONE once I got outside. I didn’t even feel it. They are damn good.
About time a couple of enterprising individuals set this guy up in a flim-flam-slam and broke his neck.
as well, honor among thieves is out the window - a 65 yo in a $1K suit lifting a 71yo woman tourist from Mass probably on a once-in-a-lifetime bucket-list excursion? When there are plenty of Yummies and Yuppies in the crowd? Detestable.
He needs a large pair of wrist bracelets for Christmas.
Thanks for posting the location and activity. Very interesting.
“long dark fur coat and fashionable hat”
That’s my stuff, officer.
There’s a civil action pending against you and we have to hold it for the court.
When I travel, my ticket, my passport and most of my money goes into a zippered pocket inside my coat.
“When are the blacks going to admit this stuff? They have a problem.”
The slave ship operators were looking for strong, healthy chattels, not honest ones.
The American colonies got lots of lazy imports, quite a few dishonest imports and some decent Africans in the wrong place at the wrong time.
What’s that on your leg?
My bail bond device.
How much does it weigh?
About 30 pounds I guess.
If this was an islamic country, this guy would have no hands.
Yeah, but I'm shocked that they would allow the competition.
I can’t help myself, I’m aware of my surroundings, and I look like I am. I also look pissed off in crowds because I am pissed off when I am in crowds. I’m just not a target for pickpockets. I have fantasies of breaking fingers though.
I would assume it’s the same in other high crowd areas like Penn station or Port authority. I only did it in Grand Central because a friend told me it was a high pickpocket area.
It was crazy though, I couldn’t believe how fast it got ripped off. It felt like fishing and the bait being eaten as soon as I dropped the line in the water. I don’t know how someone could do that, they must be sociopaths. Stealing someones wallet messes them up so bad.
I use to drive a Yellow cab 20 years ago and people would forget their wallets or purses all the time in the back seat which is why I always looked when they got out, and they would be practically crying when I would return it. A lot DID cry such as one woman who was from Germany who had EVERYTHING in her purse, credit cards, money, travelers checks, student ID, passport, phone numbers, she would have been so incredibly screwed if she lost that and she almost did because I didn’t know about it until this guy got in and told me about it which was honest of him.
