The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has affirmed the Commonwealth Court's decision and vacated the mask mandate issued by the acting state health secretary.
This means that the mask mandate has been dropped, effective immediately.
The opinion is expected to be released at a later date. Judge Saylor did not participate in the vote.
The legality of the order requiring masks in K-12 schools and child care facilities went before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court earlier this week, as the two sides argued their respective positions before the justices Wednesday in Philadelphia.

Shout it from the rooftops! Let’s hope other states have the courage to do the same. For so many reasons, this Mask requirement is not physically or emotionally healthy for the children. Social distancing as well.
10 or 15 years from now, these kids will grow up and begin to tell us what it was like being wrapped up, trapped up day after day.
If someone is ill, stay home until the worst has passed.
Maybe the worm will turn.

The worm is turning...... the truth is undeniable and more people are realizing it each and every day.
Wait until people realize the sins of Fauci, the vaccines do not work as advertised, masking and “social distancing” do not work, the FACT that IVM and HCQ are effective, the fact that vitamin D levels are essential to treating this virus, the fact that steroids would have helped people struggling to breath, that Remdesivir (Faucis recommendation) does not work and damages people, kids are more at risk from the vaccine than the virus, and that early intervention and supplements would have prevented a majority of deaths and severe illness.
Yeah..... people are going to be pissed as they come out of the fear fog.
When they see more and more big news items turn “proved fake,” they will be skeptical about the whole COVID crud, too.
I don't believe it has ever been documented that anybody with an appropriate level of Vitamin D has ever had this virus.
Achieving a proper level of vitamin D is wicked easy. Take at least a 2,000 IU supplement of D3 each morning, eat your eggs and fatty fish, and get out into the sunshine!

That’s nice, but the Pennsylvania SC is still ok with illegal mail in votes...
I’m praying now for my two teens in CA. One in high school; one in college. I pray that the mask mandates be dropped. Mask optional is fine.
I don’t want to rain on the parade, but school boards will still impose kiddates. We have huge battle to win the majority of school board seats in PA ... i think 503 school districts
We are starting to win our share of these cases.
This is what we need to do for a daily diet:
Breakfeast - (3) fried eggs in Kerrygold butter; whole fat yogurt; berries.
Lunch - Can of King Oscar Sardines and some raw nuts.
Dinner - Meat or Fish with vegetable, olive oil and maybe some homemade bread (not supermarket bread).
Drinks - Water, red wine, beer, or egg nog.
Of course, vitamin D, C and zinc.
