Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday defended congratulating Joe Biden on his win in the 2020 presidential electing, saying doing so “was important” given the prominence of the U.S.-Israel alliance, Axios reported.
“I highly appreciate President Trump’s big contribution to Israel and its security. I also appreciate the importance of the strong alliance between Israel and the U.S. and therefore it was important for me to congratulate the incoming President," Netanyahu said in a statement on Friday, according to the news outlet.
Netanyahu’s comments come after Axios reported that Trump was upset with Netanyahu, now his country's opposition leader, after he made a video message congratulating Biden.

Backstabbing low life. The president of Mexico, who was also previously cheated out of an election, had ten times the backbone of Netanyahu. That’s just a fact.
“Important?? Why???”
Because it’s the right thing to do and you don’t want to start a relationship on the wrong foot.
Israel isn’t an ally.
One way street...
Important?? Why???

The defense and survival of Israel depends on US supply of armaments they cannot make like : JDAMs, refueling planes, F-35 spare parts, many munitions etc.
The problem is he “congratulated” Biden on his “win” when the outcome of the election was still being contested and far from certain. You didn’t see world leaders falling over themselves to congratulate “President-elect George W. Bush on his big victory” while Gore was demanding recounts in FL.
Israel’s only grassroots support in America is evangelical Christians. They were Trump’s solid base and he spit on us.
Enjoy your new friends Bibi.

Q: Why is this news 10 months after the event?
A: Because Trump hate is all the media has to drive clicks.
If Trump really is upset with Netanyahu for congratulating Biden, then Trump is a bit out of line.
Netanyahu‘s job at the time was to protect Israel, period. And part of that job was to be on good terms with the incoming U.S. president, even if that president was fraudulently elected (which he was).
Israel’s existence and well being depends on the good will and support of the United States. The leader of Israel would have been recklessly negligent if he did not congratulate the winner (however he won) of the US Presidential election.
A far bigger fail of Netanyahu is his leading Israel to go full in on the COVID scam-demic.
Either our allies ( including Bibi) didn’t fully appreciate just how corrupt the stolen 2020 USA election was, or maybe some of them did. They still were faced with the “diplomatic expectation” of having to congratulating Biden. Any national lease failing to do so would have been put on vixen’s sheit list, immediately.
Unfortunately for Bibi, Biden turns out to be no real friend anyway.
Still, the greetings are standard diplomatic etiquette — and all or nearly all foreign leaders, at least those seeking to remain friendly with USA, sent Biden congrats. Uk, France, Germany, Canada, Japan , etc it is just how things are done, is all
Thry have zero actual impact or importance. Like waving at an aeroplane flying overhead
Bibi isn’t bright enough to understand... Israel doesn’t -get- those parts and F-35s if normal America turns their back on them. And his simping? What did it get him? Immediate moves to cut aid, chrome dome etc.
just what did Trump say???
President of Mexico shows more courage than Netanyahu the coward. Despite all the excuses. That’s just a fact.
Trump is a big baby sometimes.
Spit*
What is “Axios”? The reports about Trump’s comments have been “according to Axios”.
He claims it was because of maintaining the important alliance between our nations but what if things had worked out the way they should have and fraud was proven and Trump was re-elected? What would he have done then?
