DeSantis is an establishment Republican through and through. I don’t know why anyone on FR would have any real expectations of him as a presidential contender.
This could be an effective way to disrupt the logistics chain the Left is using to demographically pack swing Districts and States with a flood of illegals.
It is outside the box thinking.

While I greatly admire DeSantis there is no way you can provide any evidence of what you say.
As a politician I would definitely give the not to DeSantis as he would annoy/outrage very few people with personal remarks but DJT was by his record the most productive President in modern history and perhaps for all time and he did it all in the face of 7/24/365 attacks from the entire MSM and even members of his own Party.
Trump is great. But many voters hate him. Also, those who reach voting age in 2022 have heard nothing but anti-Trump lies in their schools for the past 8+ years.
DeSantis can point to Florida's economic, social and business climate. Covid in Florida is under control and DeSantis can run on knowing how to handle it better than Biden or Trump.
Trump should focus on building up his media company and supporting constitutionalists from behind the scenes.
I would bet that a forum of 30-50 (or more) FReepers could come up with a long list of improvements if they sat down & tried.
Most of us have been in businesses all of our lives.
I think the executive order will need to be reworded:
No state license shall be granted or renewed to any person or entity assisting in any Article IV Section 4 invasion of the United States.
Hmm, interesting tactic.
I think Trump will push Desantis to run for president. He’s far better and doesn’t polarize like Trump. Furthermore, Trump can act independently as a MAGA candidate pusher, which is where we need him.
