I'm not surprised. The evidence was overwhelming, and the prosecutor knows his business too well to let a runaway jury slip through voir dire.

I will be surprised if he does any prison time, though.

Me either..thought the prick would walk..so far in the last 3 weeks, 3 juries got it right..not sure what the 6th count he was found not guilty of though..its not like the punk will serve a day in jail he wont unfortunately

I did. Now I don’t know the jury demographics, but Blacks are
not looking too kindly on him. Chapelle has a great comedy
routine on this, and when he did it publicly, it was one, a
rip at Smollett, two hilarious, and three enjoyed very much
by Blacks attending.

Here’s one observation he made.

“Smallett is not a guy that Whites would call a faggot or a
lame ass nigger! I would!” Pharaphrased...

People were busting up at the comedy routine.
