Bigger picture: Smollett was trying to start a race war. It was a politically motivated ruse meant to brand Trump supporters as racists bent on attacking blacks, including putting a noose around their necks. He was putting a target on the backs of Trump supporters.
Smollett committed a heinous, premeditated crime. It isn’t a joke or laughing matter. He was inciting violence. He must receive jail time.
What part of the case being mentioned in the actual Illinois sentencing guidelines don’t you understand?

I just listened to a news broadcast that said “He could be sentenced up to three years and ….”
There was no mention of ‘for each count.’
race war? Yeah, it’s clear that juicy was good buds with the obolas and probably thot he was covered by the dims.. It didn’t come up in the trial, I guess, but wouldn’t surprise me if the obolas put him up to the scam for just that reason?
I believe the judge has discretion on concurrent or consecutive sentences.

Probation and community service ... can you image him “servicing the community” .... probably set up shop in some parking lot and service them out of a probation car.
Dear media: Now that he is PROVEN guilty, can we drop the “allegedly faked a hate crime” BS?
Juicy is hoping he gets jail time.
This was a hate crime in my opinion. His goal was to incite hate against people he disagrees with and doesn’t like.
He SHOULD do prison time. If I were the judge I would give him 5 years in prison (one for every conviction) and offer him the possibility of decreasing it to one year if he told the truth and admitted he made it all up in order to advance hatred against white Trump supporters.
I confess I DO NOT have the stomach for it.
