Graham warns GOP about Trump's wrath on debt vote
The Hill ^ | 12/09/2021 | ALEXANDER BOLTON

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) offered a forceful warning to Republican colleagues during a private lunch on Wednesday, saying former President Trump will come down hard on any GOP senators who vote for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) deal to set up a special pathway to raise the debt limit.

In blunt remarks to the Senate Republican Conference, Graham harshly criticized McConnell for putting Senate Republicans in position to get “shot in the back” over the deal.

He said McConnell had backed away from his vow earlier this year to not give Democrats any help in raising the debt limit.

We are in the middle of a communist takeover and McConnell is helping it along. Any senator that votes for this needs to go.

How can a vibrant nation survive with so many demented old ladies, gays and criminals holding office and having real power? Sorry but it can’t.

Let’s face it McConnell is from the old school. Working with the party across the aisle! He doesn’t realize that the times have changed. Or another thought, is his staff working with the Democrats and telling McConnell what to do like what is happening in the White House?

What would Trump do? Between Lindsey and Mitch we have no need for enemies.

At this point, what difference does it make. With Mitch they’ve got the votes, so long as Manchin and Sinema don’t jump ship.

I say $1 trillion increase every December for the next 20 years.

This is probably the maximum the economy can tolerate.

On the plus side, it’ll take the Dems forever to catch up to Trump’s judge county. On the minus side, why help them?

**************

GOP voters elect and re-elect these clowns expecting them to do the right thing. We put them there yet we don’t hold them accountable.

As the famous Pogo line says “We have met the enemy and they are us”.

Other than Rand Paul, all the GOP Senators disappoint at one time or the other. Let’s just get rid of them all save Rand.

Can’t discount the possibility he’s just “paying his entry fee” into the K Street club he might be entering in the near future.

McConnell, like all Bush League Republicans, has always been an Assistant Democrat.

Flimsey Grahamnesty is one, too, he just wears his R jersey camouflage better.
