Liberals are refusing to look at data or logic in all sorts of areas, ranging from COVID to climate change to defunding the police, gender identity issues, and the mania they have for electric vehicles. It is escalating into a full-spectrum insanity that cannot sustain itself much longer before it collapses under the weight of so many faulty assumptions.

When they are out of power it is easy enough to blame the other side for everything but now that they are ruling and things continue to go badly for all their positions, who can they blame but themselves? But the longevity of blame sets in, just as Obama blamed Bush well into his second term, Biden can blame Trump for quite some time yet, even though everything that is going wrong for Biden is clearly his own doing, or more accurately, the result of poor decisions made by his handlers. I doubt that he’s even in the room when those decisions are made.

It isn’t just a refusal to look at the data. They believe and accept it is misinformation/disinformation.

I just had a conversation with a client last night. The vax shouldn’t be waning unless you were not exposed to the actual virus all summer long. Here in Ohio everyone was running around with no mask, very little social distancing, etc. If the vaxxed body didn’t have a chance to be exposed to the real virus it would not have a chance to exercise the antibodies and learn to protect you. The efficacy would wane. Exposure would train you immune system to respond. Second what good is a booster if it doesn’t work against Omicron? As I explained to her I was out and about in several large crowds up until the Christmas Lighting (crowd there was 12,000) and most likely came in contact with 66% of the crowd. My immune system most likely has been exposed to the virus/variants. She knows I have an EHS background and understand how this stuff is supposed to work. Her response: “You make a lot of sense.”

When our party gets back in power, fingers crossed we can, we cannot take up the ‘blame game.’ Blaming won’t break the psychosis. One of the first things we will need to do is re-open the channels of information and public education. The Jim Jordan’s of the political world need...NEED...to have a successful plan to make that happen. A plan to restore Free Speech both politically and in the world of science. WE need to break the echo-chambers socially.

Historically, how did the Nazi Germany recover from their own psychosis after the war?

... now that they are ruling and things continue to go badly for all their positions...

What you say is largely true, however, much of the thinking left sees that as progress in the essential "remaking" process. That group doesn't view "the decisions made by his handlers" as "poor".

Our political opposition, what little of it there seems to be, would do better to clearly point out those decisions, and their obvious damage, are not clumsiness or ineptitude, but intentional steps in our collapse "under the weight of so many faulty assumptions".
