I never bought the line that Benedict resigned because of ill health. It was a leftist coup to remove him and get a lefty in, although I don't know what they had on Benedict to get him to comply.

O God, great and omnipotent judge of the living and the dead, we are to appear before you after this short life to render an account of our works. Give us the grace to prepare for our last hour by a devout and holy life, and protect us against a sudden and unprovided death. Let us remember our frailty and mortality, that we may always live in the ways of your commandments. Teach us to “watch and pray” (Lk 21:36), that when your summons comes for our departure from this world, we may go forth to meet you, experience a merciful judgment, and rejoice in everlasting happiness. The Pope looked pretty darn good as he visited his people at the immigrant camp on Lesbos. He walks with a slight limp, but other than that, he looked happy and healthy.
It was very touching when he received many immigrant children and their mothers, smiling and patting the children on their little heads.
I saw joy and respect on the moms’ faces.
.I watched the event on EWTN.
Though I am not a Francis fan, this was a lovely moment.
I am not a Catholic, but I know some people who were 2or three times per year,
But didn’t some prophet I think his name was Malachi claim that this guy would be the last Pope before the hills were nuked or something ?
