Here in rural MO, we tossed the masks last year in late Spring/early Summer when it started to get warm and wearing them became nasty.

Ask them to point to some data showing any statistical benefit of wearing them...

People are making themselves sick by wearing the masks so much. Especially people who have respiratory difficulties to begin with. That is what the data shows. I knew two old women who both were very fearful of getting the Fauci flu and wore masks nearly 24 hours a day. Both ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. One of them lived and one of them died. The one who lived had permanent lung damage. Her doctor told her not to wear a mask only when indoors and in close contact with others. She ignored his advice, came down with pneumonia again and died.

While checking out at Flemington NJ Walmart I was watching this kid that resembled Pugsley Adams with a mask on drinking a Dr. Pepper, pulling the mask down, taking a sip and then pulling it back up....I laughed so loud that the kid was looking at me....it was so funny...

The responses to these questions demonstrate a deep baked-in cognitive dissonance within certain segments of the American public, thanks in large part to relentless media propaganda.

For example, many of them think vaccine mandates are a good idea, but the same folks also think that wearing masks in public is a good idea. This means that a sizable number of people understand that the vax doesn't work, but they're still fine with forcing people to get it.
