You could’ve put more information in your excerpt if you hadn’t duplicated the first two lines.

I’m guessing the school has a rap sheet - 2nd graders don’t carry into school unless they’re afraid of something.

Not the first time. Heard from a primary school teacher about a kindergartner bringing a gun for show and tell in Buffalo, NY, way back when.

I took a look at the link and there’s a picture of the school.

I feel bad for the children who have to grow up and attend that school.

It looks like a factory. All concrete and asphalt surrounded by a chain link fence.

I took a toy revolver to school when I was in second grade. Had the bright orange chamber. Looked pretty real other than that. It was a cap gun that shot the ring of caps.

I didn’t get into trouble, but this was in 1988.

“I am guessing the parents have a rap sheet?”

Or it was planted in the kids back pack or whatever they walk around with these days.

THAT'S a damned school!?!???!?

It looks like an abandoned factory turned into a meth cook lab.

Second graders are old enough to know better not to touch guns. My 6 year old Grand daughter knows what they are and what they can do. She also knows if she wants to shoot a gun ,all she has to do is ask and I will take her shooting. If you take the curiosity out a gun they don’t even think about them. This kid is being raised all wrong. WTF!
Our guns are always in the safe or on my person. I/we never let them laying around.

Nah. A meth cook lab would have armed thugs posted at all entrances, and some attack dogs.

I brought my gun to school with me all the time in the late 70s. The middle school in Garden City, New York had a gun club.

We just dropped them off with the shop teacher then took them home with us later.

“”You could’ve put more information in your excerpt if you hadn’t duplicated the first two lines.”

Looking at the article, the Post duplicated the lines. I guess in case you didn’t understand it the first time.

Has to be the back of the school!!!!!! They wouldn’t have garbage cans in front of a school entrance - would they?

There is a picture of the school on the website and it’s the FRONT ENTRANCE and looks like a normal school - not the one in the article. Why on earth would the journalist or whoever put that picture of the back of the school in the article? Only the idiots writing know why they do what they do!
