(Council Bluffs) -- A Council Bluffs school district employee is accused of leaving threatening notes inside a school building.
Council Bluffs Police say 37-year-old Katrina Marie Phelan turned herself in Wednesday on an arrest warrant for three counts of threats of terrorism. Each count is a class D felony, punishable by up to five years in prison. Phelan is charged in connection with an investigation into a series of anonymous handwritten notes inside Abe Lincoln High School, where Phelan teaches. Each of the notes were reportedly found either in Phelan's classroom or by herself in various locations within the school. While the investigation took place, the school district worked with police to increase security inside the building.
Police say Phelan admitted to writing the notes when interviewed. However, authorities determined she had no intentions or means to carry out the threats. In at least one of the notes, Phelan--posing as an unnamed student--wrote that she was tired of being made fun of.
Phelan was released from the Pottawattamie County Jail after posting bond.
Looking that ugly should be a terroristic threat to begin with.

You guessed it. But it will depend on who gives the dirty look. And who it is given to. But are the sheep concerned about losing their freedoms? Hell no! Just name one freedom I lost!
Ya know if she shed some of that tonnage might advance a few steps in the looks dept. But ohhh that crazy brain well that’s another matter.
I searched DDG for her name, all I could find were stories from local channel 7 news and NON-waste stream media site stories.
I’m guessing she - being a democrat in good standing (the vertical, not the 6 feet under kind), she’s being protected from scrutiny in the public eye.
I wonder how many other such incidents go (widely) unreported?

And parents gleefully hand their kiddos off to these people every single day. Mind numbing.

She should have already been fired for her poor writing skills, unless she was try to do a Hellary and sound black.
Democrats even protect their nut cases, most people will never hear about it.

I wonder why they reported this one. Did she offend the powers that be in some way?
A mean glance is one thing, threatening to shoot up a school is quite another.
Im sure the notes weren’t just random grocery lists. Why would the school admin be increasing security because of the notes if they weren’t threatening in some way.
