CHICAGO -- Thirty people were shot, six fatally, in weekend shootings from Friday to Sunday, Chicago police said.
A teen was shot Saturday night about 11:20 p.m. in the 200-block of North Wabash Avenue, as police responded to complaints of a "large group in the downtown district."
The boy was walking and bumped into a male moving in the opposite direction, Chicago police said. Following an argument, the male shot the 15-year-old in the arm, police said. The teen was taken to Lurie Children's Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
No one was arrested in that shooting but 21 other minors were arrested in the area Saturday night; nine were charged with violating curfew.
One person was killed and two others were critically wounded Sunday morning in Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side. A woman and man, 20 and 23, were walking in an alley about 4:30 a.m. in the 4800-block of North Central Avenue when someone opened fire, striking them both, Chicago police said. Another man, 23, was inside a building when he was hit by gunfire, police said.
About an hour earlier, two people were shot, one fatally, on the Near West Side. About 3:20 a.m., a woman and man, 41 and 56, were sitting in a car in the 300-block of South Hoyne Avenue when they were struck by gunfire, police said.
There were 26 shot, 3 fatally, last weekend in Chicago.

The worst this week was an Italian Phd student who was stabbed to death near Columbia University. Some gangsta piece of sh— walked up behind him and stabbed him in the gut thanks to democrats racist war against white people that encourages this.
The guy was screaming for help knowing he was going to die and he did die. If I wasn’t banned from Twitter, Facebook I would shove this story right up AOCs stupid ass every second.
This murder by the way comes a week after another student was shot in the head in Brooklyn for absolutely no reason other than being white.

Not far from my old neighborhood. Lord I am glad I left there 30 years ago.
Why not mandate bullet proof vests? Imagine the money the government can piss away on that.

Several of these shootings were in/near the prime areas of Downtown Chicago (e.g. right down the street from Trump Tower; a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile; etc.).
I guess being "disrespected" is grounds for blacks to shoot someone. Luckily, the kid was "only" hit in the arm.

Why do we never see days of media coverage over Chicago weekend shooting deaths? Hmmm...can't figure it out...
