“I would like to know how many homicides have been solved through serial numbers”

I don’t believe tracing firearm is easy. There is no database where you can type in a firearm serial number and the owner’s name pops up. There is a database for stolen firearms, but not gun sales. To even begin to trace a firearm through the serial number you have to start at the manufacturer and work through the wholesalers all the way down to the gun dealer where you would have to go through his paperwork to find the ATF form associated with that firearm. It’s not easy, and shouldn’t be.

Yet none of these gun grabbers can point to a 3D printed or ghost gun as being used in those active shooter incidents.

I’ve got a Sears Winchester Model 37 20 gauge shotgun my grand father left me. Has no serial number. None of them in those days did. Am I now the owner of a ghost gun?

All my guns are “ghost” guns, considering that they could potentially turn potential attackers into ghosts.

“A recent New York Times article warned that ghost guns “can be ordered by gang members, felons and even children,”

This is pure BS. Chunks of metal can be purchased by anyone and if they have the right skills and machining tools can be manufactured into ghost guns but they would be illegal to possess by any felon.

“Then, commentators warned about mail-order firearms; Lee Harvey Oswald had purchased a war-surplus rifle through the mail that he used to assassinate President John F. Kennedy.”

Going through my collection of 1940s American Rifleman magazines, I suspect countless numbers of firearms were sold via mail order when criminal violence involving firearms was much lower than it is now. I guess the Media Party seldom, if ever, consider that idea.
