Collegiate swimmer Lia Thomas is shattering women’s swimming records this season, and critics say there’s a reason: She used to be a man.
The University of Pennsylvania swimmer continued her dominance Saturday at the 2021 Zippy Invitational in Akron, Ohio, with a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, setting a pool, program and meet record with a time of 1:41.93.
“She won the race by nearly seven seconds and her time was the fastest in the country,” the Penn sports information department said in a press release.
Her record-breaking victory came a day after she set a pool and meet record in the 500 freestyle preliminaries, then claimed more records in the final with a time of 4:34.06, beating the second-place finisher by 14.39 seconds.
“That time is currently the best in the country in the event,” said the university. “Her mark was also a new program record.”
Not cheering are women’s sports advocates who argue that the participation of a male-to-female transgender athlete is unfair to female-born competitors.
“Well of course women’s records are being smashed!” tweeted Linda Blade, author of “Unsporting: How Trans Activism and Science Denial are Destroying Sport.” “Lia competed as male for first three years in #NCAA. This is not right!”

Curious, you don’t see many transgender men athletes.
Chromosomes matter. XY males masquerading as female have inherent biological advantages over XX females in athletic competition, and all the pandering to severe mental illness in the world is not going to change that.
The real women need to boycott events that allow men to compete.
Problem solved in 1 season.
More like problem solved overnight.
All the women have to do is sit in their locker room and let the man race by himself.
This is literally all it will take to end this nonsense overnight.

No one is transgender. “Used to be a man” is an illogical, untrue sentence.
The women who support this mental illness are most certainly incapable of logical thought. The only question is: Do they represent a majority of female voters?
Needs to happen a lot more before people start to think, “dang this was a bad idea.”
These people should NOT have more rights than someone who is true to their gender.
I used enjoy playing war games where armies from different eras fought. For instance 1990 NATO vs Iraq 1970. It was fun to watch the slaughter. In Civilization I would race to get a nuke so I could blackmail lesser civilizations into submission.
Trans vs feminism is like that. Female athletes are quite disarmed by transmania. It will be interesting to see if they prevent males from dominating their sports. It might be too late already.
