“the highest group are 65-74”
from the same ‘Our World in Data’ sorting for US data only, the rate of all cause excess deaths have doubled in the age group 15-64 and has dropped from Jan 2020 levels in the 65-74+
https://ourworldindata.org/excess-mortality-covid
from the above sort, vaccination has stopped or greatly reduced excess deaths in those 65 or older, as expected. In comparison, the least vaccinated group, 15-64, doubled their excess deaths from a P=30 to P=60. Including all age groups, the P rate has dropped but that’s largely due to senior survivability.
It could be said that the 14=64 yo’ds had to deal without medical services for 2 years and that’s why their P rate is higher, but seniors were subject to the same lack of access to medical services, and their P rate dropped, with the most obvious difference between the two being vaccinations dwarfing the effects of recovered immunity on the 14=64 age group P value..Especially when 10,000 boomers turning 65 every day (14-64 losing 10K in strength of numbers every day) is added to the equasion.
Or the most vulnerable among the elderly died before the jabs, as planned.
