It’s ridiculous.
It’s time parents were held responsible for what their kids spoon. Maybe it will make them start paying attention instead of allowing them to become ferals.
Yep - if they had done that, they could've raised enough money on GoFunkMe to hire a top notch lawyer, AND buy a couple of million dollar homes...

By this logic Josef Stolen is responsible for his son’s crimes.
Sure, the way it went down is “hey junior! I got a gun and here’s the bullets and stuff...
For that matter they ought to also arrest and indict the school administrators who met with this lunatic kid and his parents just a few hours before he went on his killing rampage. Would love to know what information the school had on this kid and ended up doing nothing when they had the chance to intervene effectively. Suspect the kid let be known he had guns and intended to kill. They could have called the police and had him arrested for making terrorist threats. IMHO these school officials are afraid that if they take action, the parents will sue and that would affect their careers. They need to grow a pair.
Has the Waukesha killer been charged with terrorism yet? Hate crime?
They knew he was having “issues” at school because of the two-hour parent conferences. Yet they bought the gun and bullets and showed him how to use them. Within less than a week he’s involved in this.
No question about it!
He would have gotten off with 75k bail
There would have been no charges and he could have had a party afterwards with kfc.
Darn shame. So many people’s lives are over or forever altered.
I’ve read several times that the parents are in trouble because the kid got the gun and is a MINOR. If true, and the kid’s being charged as an ADULT, can the parents still be negligent? Or shouldn’t he be charged as a minor?
Something happened that must have been important for this kid to be brought into the office the day before and the day of the shooting, along with his parents. Then allowed to go back into classes.
What school official met with him and the parents? A teacher, principal, counselor? Whoever it was made a really bad call because just hours later he shot up the school, so it seems the meeting was pivotal. So was it a liberal bleeding heart educator? Maybe the kid had shown some political anger (thus the terrorism charge)?
Sorry, but if your kid had the emotional issues this kid had, are you really going to leave your firearms in a place where he can just take it? If you get your kid drunk, then he takes your car and kills someone, would you be liable? I guess it depends on State law. But it also sounds like the school screwed up here too.
I’m guessing the parents are white.
He was 15! They could have at least gotten him a learners permit to drive an SUV.
What about Tate, the kid who rushed this kid? Seems to media are burying that story all the way around. The Sheriff even said there was no video showing Tate tried to go after that other kid. Callous thing to say.
The weapon has to be safeguarded.
