Howie Carr had a comedy routine he did on a TV show I recall from the 70’s where he claimed he liked to check telephone coin returns in phone booths for change that people would leave. This was followed by scenes of him sticking his fingers in the coin returns and retrieving money. “Oh look, a silver dollar”, “Oh look, a hundred dollar bill”....It was funny at the time.
