Kyle Rittenhouse said he is destroying the rifle he used to shoot three protestors in Kenosha, Wis., last year during an appearance on the conservative podcast program, "The Charlie Kirk Show" on Tuesday.
Speaking as a guest on the program, Rittenhouse said, "We're having [the rifle] destroyed right now. We don't want anything to do with that," while discussing how the lead prosecutor in his case, Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger, brought the AR-15-style weapon into court.
Rittenhouse expressed that he was shocked when Binger pointed Rittenhouse's rifle "at the gallery."

And give the proceeds to funds for victims of pedos & domestic violence scumbags, and MAAD.
It is his to do wish as he sees fit, but destroying it seems like a waste.

He’s probably pretty traumatized by the event. Killing someone, even justified, affects the soul deeply. It makes sense he would want that instrument no longer in existence.
If it continued to exist, the darkness associated with that event would continue to live in that “relic” and would be a constant reminder to him. He wants it gone. He’s listening to his soul. Good for him.
I suspect that perhaps he is doing this under advice from his attorneys. Maybe it’s intended to soften up prospective jurors for his defamation lawsuits.
Then again, maybe he just doesn’t want to profit from killing his enemies.

I know he did not use the term Protestors. They were not protestors they were Rioters, Thieves, Arsonists and Street Thugs.
"The Hill" Really Sucks.
This kid has wisdom beyond his years and surrounded himself with very good advisors. While auctioning the gun off or selling it could be very lucrative for him, it would give the liberals and media more talking points about the situation. This is also a good image for the future lawsuits soon to be filed. Kudos to him.
Perhaps Dominick Black, the Prosecutors, Kyle Rittenhouse and their attorneys all reached a deal.
It might not have to be approved of by Judge Schroeder.
Part of this doesn’t ring true. In an interview LAST YEAR, he said “We are having the weapon destroyed RIGHT NOW?” Nope, can’t be. It was no doubt being held as evidence.
Who knows what the disposition of that AR was, is, or will be? I’m sure it’s a closely held secret.

Where have you seen this done? The weapons used by military members are not their own and they will be punished under the UCMJ for even losing one, let alone intentionally destroying one. I didn’t have any choice when I was ordered to return my weapons. Fact is, I was happy to be rid of them as it was just another step toward the door and retirement.
