The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday updated agency guidance to advise that anyone over age 18 should receive a COVID-19 booster shot.

"Today, CDC is strengthening its recommendation on booster doses for individuals who are 18 years and older. Everyone ages 18 and older should get a booster shot either when they are 6 months after their initial Pfizer or Moderna series or 2 months after their initial J&J vaccine," CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said in a press release.

Now the flu symptoms are classified as OMICRON. The symptoms are the same as the flu. I have had the omicron symptoms for years going all the way back to the 1950’s. For the soar throat I take 8ozs of warm water, tablespoon of Honey, about six to eight slivers of Ginger. Drink it and about an hour later No Symptoms , maybe a slight runny Nose. But that could be because of my sinuses. Before it was take two aspirins and call me in the morning . Now LOCKDOWN, Mask, and Distance.
The symptoms for Omicron are :
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
