My state is at the top of the list because our Attorney General Eric Schmidt is spearheading the case.
Thanks to both of you. Your replies make a lot of sense and clears things up for me.
10 states? Umm there is 40 more that need assistance.
Other states are parties to other lawsuits. If they take this judgement as precedent, those other states will see relief as well once those lawsuits are settled.
Full Faith and Credit could conceivably extend that decision to the VA and the Armed Forces...
If a State can \unilaterally\ exercise its bureaucratic prerogative to establish mandates with penalties.
The State Legislature can certainly exercise its representative prerogative and declare the pandemic over, making all such bureaucratic mandates...null and void.
State Legislators ain’t got the balls to enact the will of the people who elected them.
“It’s what is commonly known as horse****.”
I uaed to use that expression but I try not to now, I am 77 and I still remember Old Dan, yes that was his name, 1400 pounds, coal black with a white diamond forehead and white “stockings” reaching the ground around his feet. My father would perch me on his back when I was too young to talk and Dan would stand or walk very slowly with my father holding me. A few years later I learned to ride him bareback and by age nine I was learning to work a field with horse and plow. Dan died when I was twelve, he developed blood poisoning from stepping on the point of a nail which was found in his foot when he began to limp. I can still see him running proudly in the pasture, head high and snorting. That expression sounds disrespectful to “Old Dan” so I try not to use it now.
How long before he gives a speech saying he is loosing his patience with us?

I was dragging my feet on submitting my religious exemption, hopefully this means it’s going to become moot.

And would that include the fed workers and the employees of companies with fed contracts?
