COVID Patient Given Ivermectin At Edward Hospital After a Lawsuit Improving: Report

NAPERVILLE, IL — A COVID-19 patient at Edward Hospital who was given Ivermectin after a lawsuit is now breathing without assistance, Daily Herald reports his attorneys have said. Lawyers for the hospital however, contend that Ng had been improving prior to the treatment.

In early November, Judge Paul Fullerton had ordered the hospital to allow Dr. Alan Bain, who is not vaccinated against coronavirus, to come to the hospital to provide ivermectin treatments to Sun Ng, 71, a resident of Hong Kong, who was hospitalized with coronavirus on Oct. 14.

Ng was placed on a ventilator four days later.

Ng's daughter, Dr. Man Kwan Ng, sued Edward-Elmhurst Health after the hospital denied her request to allow her father to receive Ivermectin, according to a news release from Dr. Ng's lawyers.

According to Daily Herald, lawyers for the family said Sun Ng was given Ivermectin for five days. After the treatment, attorneys said Ng removed his breathing tube and was taken out of intensive care.

Joseph Monahan, a lawyer who represents Edward Hospital, countered that Ng had shown improvement prior to being given Ivermectin. "Monahan also said the hospital was unable to confirm the contents of the drug given because the doctor obtained it online from India," Daily Herald reports.

Lawyers for Ng and Edward Hospital did not immediately respond to Patch's request for more information and comment Wednesday afternoon.

Dr.s in hospitals having to order what the World Health Organization classifies as a global essential medicine? Billions of documented uses as being safe and the Drs just dont have any around but they probably have a few months worth of samples of high end opioids/benzos or brain altering chemicals in the “samples” cabinet they will give you for free just because you say you dont feel like you think you should!?!?!?!

My 16 year old daughter got Covid about 2 months ago. Wasn’t doing well with her asthma. Her Dr decided to give her Ivermectin with our consent. Within 48 hours she was clearly on the rebound. Within a week full recovery.

I don’t pretend to understand. Was it by chance? Was it directly related? I just know once it was administered, improvement happened.

All I know is I was in ER for a non covid matter. The DR, who happens to be my neighbor, gave me a prescription for Ivermectin “just in case” I thought I might need it since the CCP virus was running rampant around here at that time.

I did not get the CCP-V and have it “just in case” but I wonder why they don’t do that routinely.

Ivermectin is a 3CL protease inhibitor. It neutralizes copies of the enzyme necessary to clip up for poly-protein strand from the transcription of the viral RNA into functional subunits of protein. Each molecule of ivermectin permanently disables one 3CL protease. It is necessary to give a large enough dose to expunge all of the protease. Early treatment means there is less damage done and less protease to inactivate.

It’s amazing how some hospitals fight against the patient’s wishes with such vehemence. If the hospital really cared about a patient’s well being, even if they didn’t think Ivermectin would be of particular benefit, why deny it? It has an exceptional safety record and acquiescing to the family’s wishes will at a minimum provide both them and the patient with psychological comfort.

There might even be some placebo effect at play here, which should never be dismissed. Patient attitude is one factor in a patient getting better.
