2 weeks ago, Yahoo ran an article on how Africa is basically COVID-free with fewer fabs.

A week later, Africa becomes ground zero for “omicron”. Boy, what a coincidence s/

Oh yes but the health ministry of Botswana and South Africa said it is mmild. At this point I trust Botswana more than the US government. (Botswana and Namibia are actually nice places, look it up. I want to go there for safari one day.)

I believe that would be sub-Saharan Africa (e.g., Uganda, Nigeria, Congo, etc) - the band of countries near the Equator. South Africa (and Botswana) are technically sub-Saharan, but far from the Equator, and they've typically been hit fairly hard by the Coronaviruses (delta, etc) - and been highly vaccinated.

The reason why the sub-Saharan countries have had low incidents of 'CoVid' cases isn't clear. Their vaccination levels are low, and they have high use of Ivermectin and/or HCQ. However, they also have a fairly young population, and the people that have survived to their adulthood have probably been exposed to a lot of 'tough' bugs - so their immune systems would be hardy. Also, they probably don't suffer from the Western disease of obesity. Soo... take your pick. They've been fairly resistant to CoVid due to their use of Ivermectin, or due to these other factors.

BTW just got a message from a friend that his vaxxed father is in the hospital for blood clots. Please I don’t want to go to another funeral!

Amazing how that happens, ain’t it?

Interesting, they tell the world that the variants can evade the shots. The variants are new, meaning that they shots haven’t kept up with the mutation.

Get the shot anyway.

And there are millions, mostly Democrats, that have willingly joined the ‘covid shot cult’ and will run out and get anything that’s offered to them.

If these shots ending up becoming the death knell that some have said they were, this country is going to get real empty, real soon.
