Children being treated for transgender issues at Sweden’s Karolinska University Hospital have allegedly suffered severe injuries as a result of hormone puberty blockers.
Doctors at Karolinska University Hospital have been aware of injuries suffered by children as a result of hormone treatments, however, the injuries were not been made public until this week.
Of the 440 children treated at the hospital for gender dysphoria issues and were given hormone blockers, 13 have suffered serious injuries.
A girl who wished to become a boy at the age of 10 was put on a regimen of puberty-blocking drugs at the age of 11. Five years after the treatment, the effects of the hormone therapy resulted in osteoporosis and damaged the vertebrae in teen’s back.
The teen’s mother, Natalie said: “He felt so bad that he tried suicide attempts. We thought our child would feel better from the treatment. When we asked him regularly how his back felt, he said: ‘I’m in pain all the time’.”
Karolinska pediatric doctor Ricard Nergårdh commented on hormone blockers, “It’s chemical castration. It can affect mental health in a way that you didn’t didn’t want. It is important that the patient and the patient’s family are well informed about it.”
Hormone blockers have affected other children. One child suffered liver damage< Another had reduced bone density after two years of treatment.
Others were diagnosed with mental health issues, including thoughts of self-harm and suicide. Some regretted being put on the drugs after developing irreversible side effects such as vocal changes.
In May, Karolinska hospital announced it would be ending hormone treatment for children after witnessing the various side effects of the treatment.
The hospital is known as being the first in Sweden to offer gender identity assessments for children.

These doctors are misguided, but I doubt if there is overt malicious intent in prescribing all those hormones.
I doubt it if was their intent to knowingly ‘injure’ these children.
These doctors are simply negligent and lead by their greed.
I could be wrong and maybe ‘intent’ doesn’t even matter here.
But even I, an untrained person knows you do not ever place hormones where they don’t belong, nor do you alter them in any way unless you know exactly what you’re doing.
Avoid like the plague any physician who participates in this transgender mutilation of children.
Maybe there is a relative of Dr. MENGELE they can hire to oversee these treatments...
I think you’re right. Wasn’t the first prominent trans person in the U.S. the tennis player Renee Richards? There was a good deal of controversy as “she” beat female players. Anyway, I think she had to go to Sweden for her surgical mutilation — no American surgeon would do it. She was a rather sad, bitter “woman” when she died.

This is utter insanity, the world has gone insane. Thank God my brother didn’t grow up today, the trans Nazis at his school would have castrated him.
When he was a little kid he liked to play with dolls with the daughter of our neighbor. He is 100% hetero, grew up to be a man who’s been married to the same woman almost 30 years with 4 kids.
Do these trans Nazis realize kids live in a fantasy world? They have imaginary friends, reality for them is in their imagination? So a kid saying he is the opposite sex can be make pretend, and for that they inject them with hormones and destroy their lives? What the hell?

I can’t even tell anyone how many teenage girl “attempted suicide” calls that I went on over the years. This girl was looking for attention and was successful. Unfortunately like many others she actually managed to injure herself permanently and likely will never thrive as an adult.

Society is so sick they will abuse, destroy, and encourage these mentally ill children instead of showing a smidgen of character to help them with their illness.
Let’s see if I have this straight. We tell kids something is ok that is really a mental illness. Then we tell them we can give them drugs to reinforce the mental illness but that is more okay. That all combines to manifest and reinforce the mental illness. We CAUSE adverse physical problems that we can only fix with suicide. We had BETTER carve sanctions into granite vs anyone who tries to publicize this mental illness. That cannot be allowed.

Yes - this whole “transgender” thing is made up. You are what you are.
I can better understand being gay - for whatever reason you want to have sex with the same sex - but you’re still male or female as you were born.
Suspect some people who feel they were born in the wrong body have a real issue but doubt cutting off parts and taking hormones ever fixes it.
Bruce Jenner really confuses me. Last I knew he was “dating” a “woman” who started life as a male. Why didn’t he just stay a guy and be gay?
