'Sad and angry and frustrated': Black moms on the Rittenhouse verdict
NBC News ^ | Nov 26, 2021 | Danielle Campoamor

Last week a 12-person jury acquitted Kyle Rittenhouse of all charges related to his shooting and killing two people and injuring a third during a Black Lives Matter protest in the summer of 2020. Rittenhouse argued that his actions were self-defense. After deliberating for four days, the jury agreed.

Many expressed genuine shock about the verdict on social media, posting tweets detailing their surprise. But for Black mothers and other parents of color who spoke to "TODAY" Parents, the verdict was no surprise at all.

Each of the mothers say that far too frequently, they see just how differently their own children are treated compared to their white counterparts. And while Rittenhouse’s lawyers said the case was about self-defense, these moms say that, based on their experiences, race played a role. Their lack of surprise is also the result of other verdicts involving young Black victims, from Tamir Rice to Trayvon Martin to Michael Brown.

"Their lack of surprise is also the result of other verdicts involving young Black victims"

What black victims? Nowhere in the article are any black victims involved in the Rittenhouse specified. All just more push to cause racial strife.

Bet the Today show probably wasn't interested in talking about the Waukesha victims terribly too much.

Race played a role? They were all white.

Involving young black victims? There were no black victims, young or otherwise.

What the hell are these idiots talking about?

Go ahead and pull the other leg! I am uncertain about Tamir but Michael Brown was no one I would cite as a VICTIM! Trayvon's case was very similar to a self-defense so again, not a good citation.

So, just like usual, the MSM finds an offended group to protest. Strange that they never do this when it is from the other side!

Ret. Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam on Kyle Rittenhouse: ‘Everything He Did Was Textbook Perfect’
breitbart ^ | 24 Nov 2021 | ROBERT KRAYCHIK
Posted on 11/25/2021, 9:41:54 AM by MarvinStinson

Kyle Rittenhouse’s conduct on August 25, 2020, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was “textbook perfect,” Jonathan Gilliam, retired Navy SEAL, former FBI agent, and author of Sheep No More: The Art of Awareness and Attack Survival, said.

Gilliam stated, “When he had his weapon and he was confronted by these imminent threats of loss of life or serious bodily injury, he engaged in a proper manner to eliminate the threat. You didn’t see him out there hammering people down, mowing people down. It’s when the threat got too close and it posed an imminent threat … he took action.”

Rittenhouse was not “praying and spraying in a total reaction,” Gilliam added. “If you look at who these people were that he actually shot, and what their actions were, and how he was trying to get away, and they came after him, everything he did was textbook perfect.”

“Even when he was on the ground, he was not engaging people unless they engaged him,” he remarked. “It was perfect.”

Rittenhouse’s control of his firearm was “amazing,” Gilliam emphasized. “[He] held his weapon properly … kept his weapon in his hands when he was getting beat [and] when he was running. He wasn’t sweeping people. He didn’t drop his gun, He held onto it and maintained positive control the whole time with his finger off the trigger.”

Leftist riots would have been prevented had thousands of Americans followed Rittenhouse’s example to defend the peace, Gilliam held.

Videos of Rittenhouse shooting his attackers revealed “great weapon-handling skills,” Gilliam concluded.

Good grief, 95% of the BLM losers are white, self-hating soy boy liberals and lesbian feminists. The other 5% are the black looters.

Never bother reading anything that capitalized bLACK but not white. That one grammar protocol alone tells you everything you need to know about their racist core beliefs.

They should picture Kyle as black and see if they have the same anger and frustration. Of course they need to lose the agenda and be honest with themselves for a moment.

Andrew Coffee, black man acquitted of felony murder the same day Rittenhouse was exonerated.

The media paints a narrative, then sifts through society to find someone who buys their narrative. The more people they can shock, the more clicks they get, the better off they are. Fact is fiction and TV reality - U2.

meanwhile 3 men where rightly convicted of murdering a black man and a black man was acquitted of killing a white man in self defense.

I’m upset about the six people, incluidng one child, killed by the bastard who deliberately drove into them. I couldn’t care less about two criminals who were shot by Rittenhouse, our earth is a better place without a scumbo who raped five young boys and a repeat abuser.

The media has lied so much so often on this case that many still believe those Rittenhouse justifiably shot were black.

For the most part, I don’t believe that will ever happen. 👎
