Pharmaceutical giant Merck said Friday that its COVID-19 pill could be less effective than originally thought.
The drugmaker said the experimental pill, molnupiravir, was shown to be 30 percent effective in fighting hospitalizations and deaths in a study of 1,433 patients.

Do we get a taxpayer tefund?
I’m guessing rest and chicken soup would be more than 30 percent effective.
Should have just repackaged Ivermectin pills and called it “molnupiravir”. More effective and way cheaper.
Whatever you do…DO NOT take the horse paste y’all! Hospitals will lose incentive payments. Doctors and nurses will make incessant awful tik-tok videos with too much free time. Can you imagine the chaos of healthy elderly flooding Florida beaches?
Merck tried to disguise Ivermectin, but it didn’t work.
The old drug is much cheaper than the new formulation, is time-tested and safe, and it works against all of these purported variants.
But, Dr. Fraudchi, and his pals in Big Pharma, don’t want anyone to know that.
No duh.
Company will have to play soothing and cheery music loudly on the TV ads of happy people of all races on a summer picnic when the guy reads:
“Report to your health professional if you have common side effects such as male impotence, male and female hair falling out (alopecia) and uncontrollable leg and arm spasms while driving or using stairs. These are not the legal responsibility of your pharmaceutical manufacturer or provider.”
Recalling Merck, Vioxx and withdrawing a sometimes deadly drug after five years.

—”Approximately 27,000 Vioxx medical injury product-liability lawsuits were settled in 2008 when Merck agreed to pay at total of 4.85 $billion. The settlement offer came after Merck lost multiple important bellwether or early lawsuit trials for damages up to $32 million. Merck also agreed to settle a federal class action lawsuit filed by investors for $830 million.”

I thought I saw a report that Vanderbilt was going to start a study on using Ivermectin to treat Covid?
No worries; Just take double the dose PLUS a booster every 6 months.
This particular drug is a “mutagenic”. If you want cancer, take this pill. It is not an ivermectin knockoff (that’s the Pfizer pill aka Pfizermectin @ $720 per pill).
I will try to find the link to the ‘mutagenic’ info - very reputable docs. Not sure I saved the reference :-(
Oh, BTW the horse paste isn’t bad - might have had WuFlu a few weeks ago. Started ivermectin via paste 1.5 days after symptoms started & “it” was shut down in 2-3 days. Zero issues like stomach distress or anything else. :-)

So, we will continue get hounded to get two shots and a booster for the old virus, plus a shot or two, three, etc. for the new and improved variant in about 100 days.
It’s going to get hard to keep up with all those shots and when to get them. The odd part is, they haven’t shown that the old shots don’t work against the new variant yet. But we can have a new shot in 100 days.
If it’s a different shot, why no testing period?
They just gotta charge more. At $20.00 a pop, the pill will work wonders! The Ivermectin alternative is only $1.50 a pop so they don’t work as well. Right FDA?
Hi. So you tried the paste? I wondered about putting it in capsules.
Kills more than it saves...?
Yup. Since Merck developed Ivermectin and 3.5 billion doses have been given worldwide since 1980 with no I’ll effects, Merck will just repackage it and sell it to the government for $20.00 a pop.
Don’t worry Dr Fubar will simply prescribe more of them 🤪
