It’s not a “minority” that believes in the 2A.

That aside, the Bill of Rights is all about protecting minorities: the journalist who is investigating a popular politician, the citizen who wishes to speak out against a government overreach, etc.

CA, NY, and a handful of other places are lost. Smart and serious people need to be working towards splitting this thing up as peacefully as possible. The alternative is not peaceful at all. It’s far more divided now than it was in 1860 and for a lot of the same reasons.
