Communist is the wrong word. Communism and Marxism are dead. They have no real adherents.
The people behind the lockdown are globalists. Oligarchs. The billionaire elite owners of Big Tech, Big Media, Big Pharma, etc.
And their shock troops -- BLM, Antifa -- it'd be more accurate to call them anti-white racists than Marxists.
The Global Elite seek to destroy nationalism, borders, Christianity, normal sexuality, and the traditional family, because these are the things that stand in the way of their New World Order. Which is not Communism as Marx envisioned it, but a kind of oligarchical state capitalism.
Their low IQ, drug-addled Antifa/BLM shock troops might think they're fighting for Communism (an equal sharing of the wealth), but they're merely hysterical, hate-filled dupes.

Consider the possibility that this is being planned down to the smallest degree by very rich and powerful persons who tell royalty and politicians what to do. And being done so, country by country.
Beginning with the smallest and apparently most isolated, defendable, and desireable real estate, New Zealand is the country where so many of the most powerful and rich persons are buying up the country and building their retreats and hiding places. It appears to have the tightest lockdown and almost no one is being allowed in. A lot of things can be accomplised by enemy combatants if no one is out to see what is being done. . . .
If one considers the above, it makes perfect sense to lockdown, enslave and destroy the people, economy and society of New Zealand first.

Considering also the progression of countries listed above, we may be seeing the lineup of the procession appearing . . .and UK and Austria in Europe, Canada on this continent. If we consider this as war, rather than calling it stupid, it makes very good sense to the aggressors.
